The stars are twinkling

We had our Family Day (that I was talking about on my previous post) last Sunday and I really felt irresponsible for telling the story just right now. I should be updating my blog more often but instead I let procrastination eats me. Anyway, No more complaints, I’ll just tell you the whole story. I also had my sacrament of confirmation by that time but let’s just cut it out to make the story shorter.

Our Family Day’s theme was about the old and new heroes of Philippines. I was half nervous and half excited about my performance so that gives me an anxious feeling. The stage was prepared well because it was also the school 10th anniversary. I had a more than two character and I really wish that next year I would have lesser because I really hate doing rapid changing clothes. If you don’t know what I mean I’ll tell you what really happened that’s why I hate having double characters. Basically, I am one of the main dancers and I also need to perform as a dancer in one of the segment. It was really hard because we only had I think 60 seconds to change clothes and I can’t really manage stuffs like that even though we do that in fashion shows but at least in a fashion show there’s enough time. When we were to performed our dance for one of the segment, I forgot to bring my fan (one of the props) because of haste. I was the only one who forgot the fan and the thing was it’s so obvious but still I did the dance and try not to make mistakes. Successfully, I didn’t made mistake except for not bringing the fan on the stage. The rest of the show was done well and I’m really proud of myself for doing my part somehow okay, haha! I really can’t forget my first ever Family Day celebration at my new school. The guy that I admired even said ‘bye bye’ to me and winked at me, embarrassing yet made my night _yes .

So guys, How was your summer so far? Mine has been a little kind of busy and I decided not to burn my time in front if the computer this summer. I want to learn and try new things. This is also the reason that’s why I haven’t been around in blogging world lately. By the way, did you know about the upcoming movie “Diary of wimpy kid” ? I’m really watching out for that movie since the book is really good. I want to collect all because I only had the first book _hihi . Boy, Greg Heffley is such an adorable kid! Here’s the trailer, you should watch it too! :D
I need a new theme for summer but my problem is that I don’t have and adobe photoshop right now because the computer has been reformatted. Anyone? Care to suggest where I can download online (except torrent) or some kind of temporary replacement for PS. I hope you could help. Have and enjoyable summer!

When I think about angels.

There are many things that happened to me this week. A week full of exhausting things.  I’ll do a bullet post _swink

  • The Congo – Last Monday, we performed the poem “The Congo” as our project in literature. We only practiced the day before and add the fact that most of my group mates are low learners . Of course at first, I think that it was a bit unfair because the other group was full of average students but when we worked it out,my point of view was changed. I didn’t even expect that we were better with the other group because they’ve got such a presentable props and we think that they’ll do good because they have good members but that didn’t exactly happened.  I really think we will not survive the pressure but with the cooperation of the members we did. Although we had some mistake and we didn’t performed the other choreographs, at least we did not made it a messy performance. I did solo flight in the part where my group mates got blocked out of lines and it was really embarrassing but I’ve saved our performance and it was really an honor. I do think it wasn’t that obvious than the other group.  At least now I don’t need to worry about it because it was already done.
  • NAT (National Achievement Test) – We all know that 2nd year students are required by DepEd to take this test. We took the exams ( Filipino,English,Math,AP,Science) for five hours. It was really mental illing (LOL) test specially Math. I didn’t finished it because we were only given one hour per subject and the math needs a lot of solving but I did fine with the other subject ,so it was really a relief.
  • Outreach- I didn’t find this tiring but I’ll still share the story. We had our Outreach program at “Bukid Kabataan” ; it was my first time experiencing that kind of event.  We taught some kids there and we had a little time with them. It really feels great giving time with children who were kind of unfortunate. We prepared a dance for them and I was really overwhelmed and joyful with their smiling faces. It was a rare smile.  They were grateful spending their time with us and that really make us more grateful.
  • Practice for Family Day- We were also busy preparing for Family Day. Since exams are finished, we will only practice for our Family Day for the whole week (I bet.) . Our Family Day will be on the 21st of March. This will be my first time experiencing a Family Day because we don’t have that kind of event in my previous school. I’m really excited about it. Goodluck to me on practice because I’m one of the main dancers.

I think that’s all for this week. And Oh I finally received the package that I ordered from Etsy.com . It’s a camera necklace. I suggest that if you want some rare cheap stuff, you should try Etsy. Thanks to Ate Gel for suggesting this website. I’ll post the picture to the next post. Jaaa~ for now.
